Every day we work to fight the tragedies of homeless youth and youth in crisis. We administer our programs from sixteen locations throughout San Diego County. Our approach is based on practices that have proven to be effective -- focusing on long-term solutions. Many of our programs are replicated in communities across the nation. The Bridgman Home is the first group home in San Diego County for Deaf and hard of hearing youth. The home is located in Chula Vista and serves as a safe, culturally affirming home for youth ages 12 to 18 from all over San Diego County. The Group Home provides a therapeutic and social environment in which Deaf youth and their families will address issues that negatively impact their relationships and if left untreated will prevent future reunification as well as hinder the youth’s potential for independence and success.
